bed placement in the eaves?

Awkward bedroom.
Previous owner had the bed in the pic with the actual bed in but for holiday guests, there is restricted headroom for the person on the left side.
The only other place I can think to put it is with the head under the actual slope but depending on how far back it can go (??) - to bend to get in and out of bed - depends on the walkway space at the foot and sides.
Can't do any major alterations at the moment as the en suite is already being replaced but can't really move that elsewhere and the head can't go anywhere else along the bathroom wall as its not wide enough.
Ie even if we put the entrance to the bathroom opposite the main entrance door and put the bed head against the current bathroom door area - people can't walk around the bottom of the bed then (window) end due to low beams.
Pic of my hand is where I (5'3") can walk under for reference.
So
- best to leave where its always been?
Or
- head under the eaves? If this option - how far under can I go for two adults to use it?
Thank you!
