Entranceway and Hallway suggestions

Hi all,
I need help with how to dress our hallway and entranceway. As you can tell, we need good storage ideas - the shoes drive me mad.
Have thought about moving coats and shoe storage into the main hallway but we have a cellar door in the floor which we need access to (under the console).
Also the stairs are floating so don’t want to really block the area in.
Any suggestions/ ideas would be really appreciated.
