How do I arrange the furniture?

Our house has the kitche and dining on the ground floor with the dining doors opening into the garden. The living room is on the floor above along with the bedrooms and other spaces. But i want to have an option to have seating as well in the dining room below and i'm looking for ideas on how to arrange that. The idea i have in mind at the moment is to have a banquette seating on the left wall with a dining table and the sofa on the right wall. But are there better ways to arrange this?

this is the original plan. The dining space is 412 x 435 cm.

    What you're thinking sounds good to me. You certainly have the space for it.
