We are currently mid-build on a new house and the builder has asked for room layouts so we can work out where sockets, radiators and light fittings will go. We're finding it really hard to come up with room layouts off-plan - hard to visualise from 2D drawings without standing in the room itself - really hoping someone can help, starting with the bedrooms.
Bedroom 2
We ideally want to put a double bed in here, or could be a small double. Plus a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a desk (or dressing table).
Bedroom 3
This will have a double bed or king. I think it would be best to put the headboard against the left hand wall or should it go against the bottom wall to left of the door?
We also need to find a place for a chest of drawers and a desk (or dressing table). The plans have a fitted wardrobe in the recessed space on the right hand side which would probably look nice but we could equally have a free standing wardrobe and put the other furniture in that space instead.
This room has a dormer window with sloping walls either side, starting at 1.5m high and sloping up to full ceiling height of 2.3m.
Master bedroom
This is where I think the bed should go in our master - I think there's enough space for a super king in there? We have a separate dressing room so no need for wardrobes in here, but should we leave it like this or add extra furniture and if so what/where? The left hand wall is is 2m high and slopes up to full ceiling height of 2.3m.
Thank you in advance!!
