We are fortunate to have a fairly large space for a dressing room, just off our master bedroom and connecting to an en-suite. However, we are having a bit of trouble coming up with a layout which doesn't involve just having a long run of wardrobes down both sides - great for storage but wouldn't make it a very nice space.
I'm hoping for some inspiration!
The dimensions of the room are 4.8m x 3.2m. The dotted line represents restricted height space, starting at 2m on the outside wall and going up to full ceiling height of 2.3m.
We want a combination of wardrobes, dressing table, chests of drawers and a seating area / armchair.
Any help much appreciated!
We think it will be too expensive to get fitted wardrobes made for a room this size, so we were trying to think of a cheaper option - such as building a stud wall and using doors from howdens like in this picture with hanging rails behind. Any better ideas?
