New door style.

Hello, I would love your input.

I’m trying to figure out what type of internal and entrance door would work for this architect designed house from 1979.

Walls are all white block work
Floors are all wood apart from hallways.

Last photo shows front entrance
and front hallway.
First photo shows bedroom hallway and side entrance with monkey puzzle tree.

Hall floor will be changed. No decision on that yet.

Last photo shows style of house.

Final style aimed for is modern, minimalist and yet keeping earthy tones.

thanks for posting the photos. First, I feel like there is a mix of styles in the design that aren't really complementing each other. The waterfall walnut frame around the frig and wall oven areas is VERY modern. But the rounded front cooktop/bar, the divided light glass front cabinet doors, and molding on the upper cabinets are very traditional -- maybe even a bit 'cottage'. The looks are fighting each other IMHO. Also, I would reconsider the placement of the wall ovens -- they seem very crowded back in that corner. And the range hood going to the ceiling but the cabinets stopping short looks odd to me. Maybe a different hood with a narrower chimney would look better. And, is that the dishwasher on the island? --- Yikes -- I would want that right next to the sink (otherwise you'll be dripping water all over the floor everytime you load it)

Please, please, please, don't paint any of the wood. You have a beautiful setting for mid century modern décor. I can agree with removing the carpet from the stairs, however I would just want to add a jute floor covering for the stairs after. The light fixtures should probably both be changed. You even have a lovely roomy space in your foyer. I always recommend starting with the foundation of the room, which is the floor covering. Kilim, ikat, Persian or Oriental would be my choice. I would think minimalist would be very fitting in this space.

Have no idea why you are restricted to white doors but we live in a house where all the doors come off the hall and we put in doors with checked glass everywhere to get natural light into the hall and also break up the row of nothing but doors i have pale grey walls but I painted all those doors dark gray and hung very colorful art work down that hall it looks sort of like a gallery and not sterile at all. And yes the doors are on all the doorways including the bathroom you can see nothing through them.
