What would be the best answer here for privacy???

New house built beside us, we get on great with new neighbours and want to keep it that way. One bedroom looks right onot/into us. tried williow whips but the answer we want, have a few red beeech growing but most didnt take as the soil is bad. bit lost of what to do? The wall would need to be raised by another 6 foot to be effective and that is probably too big. Maybe some type of wooden structure

would be the answer? Im lost now and not sure what to do. The ground underneath wall is about 75cm wide and has been covered woth mesh and stones for 14 years so inst good quality soil.

Love some ideas to give us our privacy, thanks a million.

What I have always thought is, if you try to "match" an existing floor it looks like you tried and missed. When you go with something completely different, the result is yes, I wanted something different, and here it is. Especially if you lay it in a different direction. Does that make sense?

A15) @Dara Cooke: If you can't afford a quartz or granite worktop from day one then I would recommend using a laminate worktop as a temporary solution. If you don't put tiles up as a backsplash then replacing the worktops can be relatively easy in a couple of years.
