Looking for a specific extractor fan

last year

I am under going a kitchen revamp. I am trying to source a stainless steel, glass chimney style extractor fan but it must be 50cm wide. The standard size is 60cm. If someone can recommend where to find what I am looking for I would be really grateful

ao.com stock some 500mm but you might have to change your criteria as they are not all glass.

I might consider one of the top extractors instead as it will be easier to fit a glass slashback up to a straight extractor. Personally I think the chrome looks more expensive.

Paint the doors black matt and the fames cream add silver crome door furniture. Huge silver mirror above the covered radiator then add a runner of any colour you like and match it with the lamps and lighting. hey presto done.

Laminate flooring widths?

The sizes you mentioned for the flooring: 11mm or 8mm are not "widths" of the plank. It is the THICKNESS of the plank. Technically the thicker the laminate the "nicer" the laminate. Small rooms do well with lighter flooring. And please do not use laminate in the kitchen. It won't survive for very long. If you are going to do it, please purchase enough laminate to REMOVE AND REPLACE the kitchen TWICE. That way you can have the same floor throughout the house even if the kitchen is severely damaged....and the potential is VERY high that laminate in a kitchen will NOT survive a rental situation. Remember: in a rental, the life of a floor = 7 years on average. Laminate in a kitchen averages 3 years. That's why you want to buy enough laminate to install the kitchen TWICE....it's the only way you can get it to "live" for the full 7 years. Have fun.

A15) @Dara Cooke: If you can't afford a quartz or granite worktop from day one then I would recommend using a laminate worktop as a temporary solution. If you don't put tiles up as a backsplash then replacing the worktops can be relatively easy in a couple of years.

Elica Stone is 330 wide and is a chimney extractor, but not glass, just cylindrical, looks good though.
