How would you organize this closet space??

I am so embarrassed to even be posting these pictures but I’m in desperate need of design and organizational help! We recently downsized and this is the only storage closet in the entire house so I’m trying to use it for towels, linen and overflow bathroom items like shampoos, medicines, etc. it goes pretty deep so I’m stuck on how to organize it so everything is easily accessible. And it also stresses me out any time I open it. I would truly appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

    Plastic stackable storage boxes with lids would be my approach. You could store less used things in boxes to the rear with frequently used things in front. If it would fit, you could use a small shelving unit, but that would eat into your space. There’s a website, MustHaveIdeas, which has a range of storage options which might give you some ideas. Really Useful Boxes are good, although the different sizes aren’t all compatible for stacking. Hope you can find a solution.
