bathroom tile advice

Hi, I am going for tiles similar to these black ones in our new en-suite in the shower (with painted walls outside the shower in probably a taupe colour), not sure what to put on the floor, I would like a dark tile but don’t think that wall style goes on a floor so wondering if it would look odd with large black tiles. All ideas and suggestions welcome.

I would probably go for a lighter tile but if you want black I’d choose them from the same range like the Fusion range at Mandarin Stone. What finish are you having for sanitary ware etc?

Do you have plenty of natural light in the room? Just that a black floor and black walls can be very oppressive, although you are having taupe walls. I noticed the examples you have shared have dark walls, but a lighter floor, which may be a better solution?

We have made room for an en-suite shower room to our guest room we went for the largest shower cubicle we could reasonably fit in. Found the nicest white tiles to make the best of the space. Fitted bifold shower screen feeling the space was too small for a wet room( too much drying off of the fittings and paddling water beyond the area). toilet opposite, and sacrificed on the basin, just a small wash hand basin. Our thinking being that these days people tend to shower rather than wash and the smaller basin works well for teeth cleaning and hand washing. it works well. Hope yours will too.

We have black Amtico LTV plank tiles on our tiny en suite floor, and it looks fine, however, the shower has a white mat outside it sometimes. It all depends what else you have in the room

Thanks for all the comments, there isn’t loads of natural light, but it’s a tiny floor space and if I’m honest, I love the practicality of black grout! 😂 the fusion range looks perfect!

I got the Rosalina pink marble hex from mandarin stone. We went for bottle green tiles and dark green walls and ceiling and the pale pinks looked so gorgeous with that 😊
