Utility room help

last year

I have a tiny utility room which I want to kit out with cupboards amd including a upright freezer.. would anyone be able to advise the best way to sort cabinetry etc when such a small space. My washing machine/ dryer are already under the worktop as you go in. Who would you recommend I ask to help on such small project? Just what to maximise storage space as don't have much in my kitchen.

Ask a local kitchen company. If you don’t want the worktop space then you could always put your dryer over the top of your washing machine which will give you space for another base unit.

On the opposite side to the worktop indicated if you are short on storage in your kitchen then l would have a bank of tall units. You use one for a larder, another for vacuum and tall items such as ironing board and then the others for general storage.

You could do a look like this if you choose the right linoleum. Be careful or it could look cheap. The black & white pic is probably tile but could be done in linoleum. Second is marmoleum. Get the real linoleum (not shiny)

The only way to do this involves moving some cabinets. There is a lot of vertical space available opt 1) remove the upper cabinets near the window. Place the freezer on top of counter. Use the former freezer area to build in shoe cubbies. opt 2) Move the tall pantry cabinet up. Underneath the pantry cabinet, build in shoe cubbies. opt 3) move the freezer up to meet the bottom of the upper cabinets. Put she storage underneath freezer. You'll need to replace the counter with a smaller counter that will be over the washer and dryer only.
