Boring bathroom needs some personality or decor flair
We had our bathroom redone a year ago and I've always felt like it feels half finished. I originally liked the idea of a neutral bathroom but I wonder now whether it's a bit clinical and needs an injection of colour or something? We don't have a huge budget? Part of me wonders whether we should tile the rest of the wall rather than leave blank.
We are planning to add wall lights to either side of the mirror but any other thoughts?
A friend mentioned the black blind was a bit boring but not sure what else would work?

Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! last monthIt’s a lovely room. i agree with Sonia re adding green. i also like the idea of adding lights. Is it a scandi style you like?
I’d change the blind and add a bath mat. I’d also add a towel ring to the right of the sink and add linen towels for more texture. The only thing that doesn’t work for me is the mirror, I’d change it to a round one, maybe a wood one to tie in with the bath tray or a thin metal one. I might also remove the art over the loo as it draws attention to it. I think I’d leave the walls otherwise it will draw attention to the radiator which would be very tricky to paint
