At the moment the chimney is the only interesting thing in the room! Get your bed and furniture in there, hang some curtains, artwork, etc. See what else you need. Building storage into the alcoves is a popular choice, but having one whole wall of floor to ceiling cabinets could be quite domineering. You could open up the chimney breast and have a fireplace opening into the room to provide an actual feature? Use the alcove by the window for a desk area?
