Shadow gap skirting sizes?

We are in the middle of a modern new build and want to include shadow gap skirting and shadow gaps around the doors. Any ideas on what size gaps look best?


I was thinking that in order to keep them clean you need a decent size gap to get the vacuum cleaner nozzle under but they seem to look better slightly smaller. Also, do you have the door gaps slightly smaller or the same size? Our doors are quite wide (about 900cm)


Does anyone have any experience of this? Our builder has never done it before!

    Yes, we have some aluminium beading samples so will probably go with that. Thanks
