Hi all, I'm looking for information on what type of carpet I should put on our stairs. I'm looking for one that's easy to clean and that a child won't slip or trip on as much as might with some materials. we have 4 indoor dogs and they like to drag random irems like sticks and coal up the stairs. (I should probably invest in a closed coal box). I want something I can clean. We had a lovely carpet up the middle of the stairs with brass rods, but 1 of the dogs started biting the exposed timber, so I think we will probably go the full width this time and take away the rods. Any help appreciated.
