Where should the beds, wardrobes & radiators go?

Please help with ideas for the layout of 3 bedrooms. The blue cross in the black box represents a chimney breast that I can’t afford to remove at present. But leaving it creates an awkward shape to accommodate beds, wardrobes and radiators.

The master bedroom would require a 4 door wardrobe and a 2 door in the middle bedroom.

The small bedroom will be temporarily used as an office but likely to turn into a bedroom in future.

fragle0 ... congratulations on the new addition to your family. Have been following your lovely changes. You probably won't have time to work on the decor for a while. Just wanted to suggest that you try pulling the nesting tables forward to be more in line with front of the chairs & placing your floor lamp to the back of them. This will give a bit more light at night for reading in that area.Also switching the plant by the fireplace & the one on the corner by the sofa.

sorry haven't been on here much and havent had time or money to much about my room but should be getting to work in the next few weeks/month. I've added some more photos to give a better idea of the layout of the room and the dimensions. the first one is a view from the bed or the foot of the bed, so you can see the wall space isn't massive. The horrible curtains are waiting to be changed when I get all the work done! The second photo is the other wall to show where the door to the room is. Carolyn the wardrobe in the photo there is the one I'm going to put in the nook and then I was thinking of getting a carpenter to build shelving on the wall where the wardrobe currently is. Around the bed then would be more storage and shelves either side to act as bedside tables. As anyone any ideas for the type of shelving I should be looking to get built? I would be looking to hold - clothes that wouldn't be hanging like jumpers, t-shirts etc. I would definitely need an area for books/magazines, an area for toiletries and maybe then storage for items such as bed linen, blankets and random items like chargers for phones, laptops etc.

Have you thought about choosing furniture first? If not try that. The reason for that is your bed and other furniture such as dressers and wardrobes will take centre stage, so that should take priority. Perhaps there's a particular style or piece of art that inspires you and with that can get you started. Perhaps choose colour last as it can be something to complement all your furniture, carpet, window dressing etc. Don't forget to think about lighting, so important in a bedroom, soft bedside lamps for reading and relaxing and maybe a brighter central light for dressing, etc. Windows are important too. Too often they're neglected, if you're a light sleeper think about blackout backed curtains or blinds. And it's here and with rugs/ carpets, pillows and throws where you can really have a bit of fun. Perhaps an interesting colour and stylish pattern to spruce things up such as chevron or other geometric patterns. Look forward to seeing the room. Good luck!

Melissa, when I said footboard, I meant this. It has a portion of the bed that extends beyond the mattress edge. You posted a bed that had something at the foot section of the bed. By platform, I mean a bed that has a hard area and only a mattress on it. Like this. It does not extend beyond the edge of the mattress, but does not have a box spring. It is also lower to the ground. The picture you posted was a high profile bed and box spring. It was not on a typical bed frame. A standard bed frame, used with box spring and mattress looks like this. Virtually invisible and does not extend out beyond the mattress/box spring set. That being said, I'd recommend you get a headboard that is not too big for your space. Neither in height or depth (distance from the wall). I would also not get a mattress frame that extends beyond the size of the mattress. Sorry to have not been clear before.
