I have a cosy living room and I have always wanted hard flooring (easy maintenance) but the estimated cost came to £2,000! I just can't afford that especially with the increase in the cost of living. I am looking at alternative options now. What do you all think? Thank you so much for reading.
Hi Siwan, there are loads of options out there for alternates to hardwood/carpet that you could consider. Vinyl, wood, rubber and cork the list goes on. If you like the idea of wood but need a better price have a look at companies such as Karndean for their options. Cork is becoming a firm favourite as well with its sustainability credentials and is warm underfoot. Good luck with your searching!
Thanks all. We currently have a cream carpet but it's probably twenty years old and has white paint and oil on it. We moved into our new house a year ago. Three floors have been carpeted and now we are on the ground floor! New shower room and separate toilet in January! It was a full renovation project. I think laminate flooring is the answer and I will continue my search tomorrow.
