Hi I have a wood table and in some areas there are some not scratches but seem like small bubbles.it seems that there is a thin layer above the wood and makes it feel that in some areas is exposed .
There are lots of solutions online…… most will suggest this is heat damage and the white marks are trapped moisture that can be released with heat or oil or mayonnaise. Be aware that further heat could cause more damage if it’s a laminate rather than real wood.
