What pattern bathroom floor tiles for a scandi vibe?

Hi,
We're designing our bathroom, white suite with a wood effect vanity. We'd like a scandi feel so are considering an oak shelf along the half stud wall and large matt white tiles to bottom half of wall and shower area.
Would like patterned floor tiles but don't know what to go for for a modern scandi look rather than a victoriana traditional look. Also would consider painting a colour on walls but again unsure where to go with this and matching floor. This is the vanity.

Most examples I’ve seen on Pinterest have very pared back, plain floors, but I saw this geometric floor which may fit the bill?

Thanks Sonia, I really like that geometric floor, I'll have to have a search for something similar. We're keen to avoid plain as our previous house was very minimal and now in the new house we're trying to have a little more confidence with adding just a touch more character to each room.

Hi, We always put a quick note to verify our experience: Brigitte and I have consistently designed between 70-90 kitchens/year for over 34 years..... We've literally designed thousands of kitchens..... We also design/build full structural including below-grade foundation plans..... Anyway, certainly nothing personal, but that tile reminds us of old bathroom tiles/patterns from back in the 40's/50's, not something to put on a large kitchen floor.....Considering that you also have a parquet floor pattern in both adjoining rooms it might really look awful.....As we tell many clients- "don't want to look like we're in Disney World!.....You should be able to buy some of these tiles and lay them out, then return them.....Do it next to the other floors to see the visual.....Hope this helps.....John & Brigitte

Hi, you have a lovely home! I read through your thread, and I like Dar Eckarts suggestion above the best. I think because of the symmetry of it as an H shaped house is symmetrical, and it would also keep the space looking decorated but still open and uncluttered which is what an entrance should be. Sorry, but I don't care for the bookcase idea in an entrance. I also noticed the masks you have, and think it would be great to decorate the space using them as inspiration. Here is a photo to show you the kind of rug I think would work here.

What I'm actually wondering though is about mixing the metals - so having the chandelier and lamps with the touch of silver - or would I be better to source antique brass lamps like I have in some other rooms in the house - I kind of wanted to feature quite a bit of glass, and generally the glass comes with chrome, but I'm not sure if it's too modern for the sideboard etc, and mores worried about the clash of metals, but something tells me it might be ok in this instance! I have chrome taps and rainfall shower head in new bathroom and kept with antique brass for the light fittings and door/press knobs. Also yes the room is small but that's not an issue - it is what it is and I'm fine with it!

I think it looks great so far. Many of the ads for claw foot tubs, and magazines, show them with encaustic/cement tile and plain white surround. Also, you did something creative and attractive with the tile layout. I love the nickel shine of your clawfoot legs too. If you can maybe get a corner shelf on one side of the wall, you'll have a place for soap, candle or bubble bath. And maybe hotel towel holder on another wall to get the height up.
