Kitchen Layout - New build
Comments (8)Where is your refrigerator? If you move your stove over is there room for a refrigerator and a stove? You will need at the very least 12" on each side of your stove. Your sink can either go by the window or on the island. Another option is to put the stove on the outside wall and move the window over. If you do this you can put the sink on the island. The refrigerator can go on the back wall and you might have room for a 24" wide pantry at the end next to the door and the refrigerator can go next to the pantry....See MoreHelp with Kitchen/Dining area layout - new build
Comments (1)I think I would have one set off steps down and move the dividing presses to the side where your sink is, making it a peninsula. That would make for a nice L shaped banquette seating area where your blank wall is, and the gallery backdrop would be great there. You could also have a nice long table as opposed to the small square one. I also hope you don't mind me saying that I think you need to reconsider the placement of your hob. It's right beside a door which will be awkward and you have your back to the room when entertaining. You will have such a nice kitchen that you should make the most of it for entertaining. Even you consider putting it on the island facing the dining area?...See MoreI really need help with kitchen layout, all advice welcome!
Comments (4)So I think we have decided to stick with the layout that we have and just block up the double doors. I hope it and it will be nice because I have lost a lot of sleep worrying about it. Thanks for letting me post here....See MoreHelp needed with kitchen layout
Comments (0)Hi All, I am hoping for some advice on the best thing to do. We have knocked the wall between our kitchen and dining room to create one large room. The two rooms are offset (per the drawing below). We are thinking of removing the back window in the kitchen & putting in double doors to make the kitchen flow into the garden better but I’m unsure if we then have enough space for kitchen cupboards! I would love other people’s thoughts on what to do. Many thanks....See MoreDEN LIFE interiors
