Living Rooms Home Decorating Design Dilemma

what would you do with this living room?

So I’ve got a fairly large living room. It’s the main room for our family and holds our only tv. Two single windows on fireplace wall are east facing . The bay window is north. Used mostly in evenings. Would love to completely revamp this room: can keep or get rid of most everything. Was only ever decorated “temporarily” as kids were babies. More pics in comments. All help greatly aapreciated : paint, layout, panelling, colours. TV not going to be wall mounted on fireplace is the only thing.

More photos. As you can see a lot of space behind the sofa could probably be better used. We are a family of 4, the room is our only tv room and is used in the evenings mostly. Single doorway - can be removed if necessary and blocked with furniture in short term. The pocket doors are the ones which are open all the time and used all the time.

This is a lovely room. Have you tried the tv where the red chair is so the bay is not blocked. Maybe one sofa opp fire place and two chairs or a two seater with console behind it in a few feet from pocket doors. Maybe chairs/sofas with narrow arms to fit. Big rug and square coffee table. Lower the wall art/box decorations.

Hi, we're trying to figure where the furniture should go in this living room. We would like to place a three seater, two seater and the television as a starting point. There is no fireplace or other focal point in the room. You also have to walk through this room to get to the kitchen so the furniture cannot block this route. There is a deep alcove on the left of the room where we would like to put a small work station with shelves on the wall above the desktop. Would you hang the television on the long wall or put it in the corner opposite the workstation alcove? We could put a three seater under the window but where to place a two seater is a problem. We need more seating than one couch can supply. Any ideas? Thank you

Want to update my dining area in my kitchen but not planning on replacing marble table(1.2m x1.2m). The area is parallel with the seating area. I`d love to know what you would do.
