Sun wall cracks, to tie or not to tie

Hello everybody

It's me again, another day another topic. Hope all is well on your side.

Things are getting along, the sunroom is now being done. So fingers crossed, hope all will finish in a month or so.

As of now, things seem ok, no major queries I can think of. Except for the sunroom.

There was a decorative wall on the left, which was taken down, to reveal nasty cracks. The sliding glass door of the kitchen to the sunroom on the right was also taken down and rsj inserted there

Initially, the builder came back to me, saying there the wall of the sunroom was not tied to the main room (if this makes sense?) I have to admit, that's the first time I came across the world wall + tie. He then changed his mind and said on

closer inspection, that it was fine, not needed.

I have enclosed those pics within. Do I need to worry or do anything? Besides repair of these cracks and plastering?

Please do advise
