I got a garden table delivered today as part of a bigger set and the table top doesn't quite fit in the frame annoyingly. It is tempered glass so wondered if I could sand it or any other way to trim a bit off as the frame is metal.
The only way to refinish it is to use a carborundum stone. This is an oil stone on which you can sharpen chisels so it cleans up the edges, but in direct answer to your question, no, there is nothing you can do to grind it down. It may shatter if you try to do so.
Why doesn’t the glass fit in the metal frame if they are both new?
