Structural wall removal & kitchen remod

Hi. We're considering getting our kitchen remodelled, once we've removed the structural wall between kitchen and diner. The idea is to move the kitchen currently on the left, to the right handside in the dining room side (it will all be one big room when the wall is removed). Firstly, has anybody done this before and is it worthwhile? There will be water and possibly gas cooking lines to move... and whatever services a kitchen usually has/needs, incl. Electric points. Not sure if there is anything else. We have an L shaped garden, and I love the idea of having bifold doors opening up onto the patio/paved area...and hence moving the kitchen to the back, and dining table area by the bifold doors, with the intention of maybe even installing a pergola in the future. Currently, we only have a small kitchen side door. And a conservatory on the otherside. The garden wraps around from the conservatory to the kitchen single door area.
