Would love to get some help with my bedroom
Comments (16)i agree with most suggestions above. but dont remove your current rug because u can actually layer a faux fur rug over it. plus your rug has amazing rustic colours and u can use them as accents. maybe over time you may invest in new pillowcases/quilt covers complementing the colours of the rug..peach/mint/cream/ to name a few. may also add some mettalic cushions combo. you can always take them off if you want that summery feel in which switch to sweet pastels. a lot of pillows are important! lol! i'd get rid of the plant. the dressing table n side tables could be black (lacquer may be interesting)with gold knobs (think art deco). dressing table should be move to the side so you get more light and space near the window. maybe mirror can be placed against the window so ull also get natural light when you're admiring your reflection. ur room has an eclectic feel to it.. its great just needs some rearrangments thats all....See MoreHelp with bedroom colour
Comments (12)Hi. I'm not that keen on the paper with the rest of the room, it doesn't look bad at all but it doesn't look stunning either imo. Everything else looks to be more of a greige? I'd look at the same paper in truffle, sable, dark linen or even the pewter may work ( hard to tell colours on screen so would get samples of all!). I agree with the others, would go for plain bed linen and add pattern in cushions and/ or throw. It looks as if a chalk pink would work best with the greige. Maybe a chalky white for the remaining furniture. You could also break up the window ŵall by adding a trim and maybe Pom poms to the bottom of the blind. A little antique gold for accessories, lights etc would also work well....See Morebedroom with large black wardrobe and brass bed ideas for paint | deco
Comments (2)I had wardrobes in wood finish They looked so dark So I could not cope with BLACK.! I would sand and paint the wardrobe white and the walls. The bed you could make pull down covers for top and end . (Make them like an open bag so you can wash them .But a devan bed would give open space look).. materal of the same colour as the curtains. Padding them or just covering. Make the spread the same colour. For day time. That should lift the darkness from the room. You can have a blackout blind for night if you want to keep the colours light. My room looked a treet much brighter. and I sleep better now. .OliveH...See MoreBedroom layout help
Comments (1)Our master bedroom is a attic conversion and we currently have a super king bed and it would take up a large chunk of space with just enough for our narrow bedside tables if it were on the back wall. Has anyone got any suggestions on alternative layouts? We don't know if we block the window if it would look silly?...See MoreJikoni Interiors
