How to use this blank wall and space!?

I love my living area but have a huge space and blank wall as I walk in. I’ve thought about a sideboard but not sure if it would take up too much room. I also have no plug points there and don’t want anything to get in the way of the tv. Any ideas much appreciated!

Could you get the tv to work the other side.. then could put a chair or pair of x2 single grey chairs along the wall there.. sure others will have more practical suggestions.

Can you change the door so it swings onto the wall rather than i nto the sofa? I think both the wall behind the sofa and the wall you are referring to need art, perhaps a few large pieces or a gallery wall.

Brighten the dining with a chandelier over the table and a new rug in the right size. It should be 4' wider and longer than your table top to allow for chair scoot and sit space without the chairs falling off the rug. Change out your red for yellow to add a pop of brightness. Will the mirror above the piano fit on the wall left of it so the new chandelier can be doubled for more brightness?

I agree with maikola, turn under the stairs into storage. Maybe combine with a little desk for when the kids are older. I'd swap your dining and living area around. Have the tv on the long left wall with a small sofa a couple of feet in front of the doors and one opposite the tv. It does look as if a 5ft table would fit in the kitchen though? If you don't want to fill too much of the kitchen space consider a bench one side for you to use with chairs for the kids on the other. The area outside the kitchen could then be for the kids to play

You could go for another plant (real or good fake) for top shelf above TV to soften and pull the alcoves together.

I would agree with Kate that both walls just need some artwork, maybe smaller ones above the sofa and a large piece for the blank wall.

When I look at the 4th pic it looks like it's missing a sofa on that wall, is the green one a pair stuck together? If so, could part be put on that wall.
