Victorian hall tiles

Does anyone have any suggestions on how these tiles can somehow be restored, or reused in another way. Such a shame so looking to keep them incorporated some how!!

I'd look for something that looks great with the irisses in the windows, the colors at least. Something Art Nouveau or Art Deco, botanical, floral. Metallic silver/beige will reflect lots of light. But I would leave the low stairs' walls (rail) as they are (painted offwhite) and only paper on the high wall leading up and the wall without stairs (opposite side). If the wall is in good shape, no need for complete paneling, just use a chair rail and paper the part above it. Or do you want planks/panels to show?

Have you ever considered a real interesting eye catching piece of art work to really brighten up an area, I think a select piece of art would really make the space stand out, add interest, colour, texture and add a great talking point to the room.... Hi & Tnx. The house is a wee 2 up 2 down Victorian row home, but the floor is not. I don't know for sure as the whole lot has been concreted (unevenly), bar the tiled hallway. It is not concreted well & probably replaced a suspended wooden floor long ago. I would rather avoid having to dig out the concrete if possible? S

If you painted the wood skirtings (removed in photos) and door frames, in the dusky blue from the tiles then did the walls in white to bounce light around the hallway as they can be a bit dark I don't think it would look clinical because the use of the blue would add a little drama and look very up to date. Alternatively you could use a deep grey. I haven't seen this done much but when I have it has looked well.
