im looking to decorate a bedroom in my house which has a lot of oak coloured wooden panelling in. this panelling holds a lot of sentimental value and so i will never get rid of it.
finding it hard to decide on a colour theme that goes well with the panelling. ideas please? you can see a pic of one wall below.
It's difficult to tell from the photo but I would say that's pine not oak. The knots point to pine as does the orange tone.
Pale greens tone well with timber finishes and in your case I would look at Cromarty which is by Farrow & Ball but you can have it made up by Johnstones much cheaper and it is an exact replica of the colour.
