How do I co-ordinate my living room with this wallpaper seem to have a lot of the same colour
Comments (20)HI -- Well the wallpaper was just done so there is no changing that , soooo I think you should paint the rest of that wall the same white as the white background of the wallpaper and paint fireplace mantel too. Then have two small matching cabinets painted the blue from the paper or the leaf color placed on each side of the fireplace. . Then have white or glass shelves above , maybe three is best . Now the rest of the room painted the exact color of your sofa . Because the room looks small I think it would look best to have the sofa blend into the walls color wise. Now just keep some of your room accents in the blue color but not too much. Remember not to clutter the shelves and if you don't want the shelves then have a large painting on each side and have a big round mirror over the mantel and keep the small items off the mantel and onto the side cabinets ....See MoreWhat style is this sofa?
Comments (25)It's interesting, but we inherited a sofa and companion chair with the same sweep of the arms, but a lot of intentionally fanned pleats - all done in a deep peach fabric- almost salmon. I was moving into a larger home and needed the pieces, probably 1930s vintage with squatted round wooden feet/legs, each on a caster. I didn't like the color however, so chose to have it reupholstered. That, rather than be forced to work with it. I still love it today. So there's another option, though a little pricey. I agree with Decoenthusiast about the vintage of your sofa. It's not very old, and style is transitional. So it can, just like my delightfully interesting Christmas dinner guest (thanks Lenny), 'go either way' ;).....See MoreStone shed door paint colour
Comments (13)I like the blue on the right. Once that vine leafs out on the left, you will have a view-full of green. I admire your shed. Is your home equally admirable? Did you fix up the shed for your mother-in-law? Let her pick the color to her cell. Did I say that again? cascio.offsite@gmail.com...See Morecolour match help needed!
Comments (4)Probably the light catches the wallpaper in a different way than the paint on the wall, so the cream paint didn't seem to work as well as you'd hoped. It's tricky... Maybe if you painted a swatch of the right green he might learn to love it?...See Moreminnie101
