Should i add walk in wardrobe?

My husband wants to add walk in wardrobe outside the ensuite area but I'm not sure if it's worth it because i don't think we will gain extra storage space and it will make the room feel smaller.
Would be great to get some feedback.

If you keep it as a master bedroom I would definitely go for walk in wardrobe- we have a very similar situation in our room but even though we haven’t gained wardrobe space everyone that has a nosey thinks it’s amazing! We also didn’t put a door on the en-suite that leads off the walk in wardrobe so we could gain some natural light and it works really well keeps it all feeling more spacious than perhaps it actually is.

Is it the master bedroom? i only ask as it‘s labelled bed 5. If it’s a master you're going to need wardrobes somewhere, if it’s a spare I would go without

Get a piece of wide shoe moulding for the bottom trim. Add organizers and shelves, paint it white white with a coat of satin polyurethane over the paint, and add new hardware. It will be beautiful

I love the cabin in the woods, its a intimate setting where you are drawn to the outside whilst keeping snug indoors. The use of fabrics sets it apart from the usual cold designs of other modern rooms. The attention detail in the selection of furniture pieces keeps it modern yet functional.

We have a big bedroom in the loft and two similar sized large bedrooms on first floor. We wanted to use the loft bedroom as master but don't want to leave the children (5&7) on their own downstairs so debating whether to have this as the master bedroom for us...

Probably too late but I wonder if bedroom 4 could be an ensuite for bedroom 3, leaving this bedroom 5 available to split into two equal sized children's rooms? If your ensuite in room 5 was along the wall (with the two windows) there would be plenty of room for fitted wardrobes in front. That would also work for bedroom 2 if it's not too late.

Personally, I’d relish being on a separate floor from the kids! Bedroom 2 and 5 could then be good sized rooms for the kids. Push the beds up against a wall and you can fit in desks, wardrobes, etc. Bedroom 3 can be a guestroom and 4 a study or playroom.

Elfa (the product I design with) recently released a couple of nice images with curtains over walk-in wardrobes. It's something i always thought was a nice alternative to hard doors that could make a space look smaller...
