3D drawing for kitchen plan

Hi All

We are embarking on a renovation of our kitchen dining area and would like to get a 3D model to plan the layout

We have somebody to make and fit the kitchen but he doesn’t provide design service.

Does anybody have any suggestions. We are based in South Dublin

HI Sophie, Thanks so much for the suggestions. We would never have thought of moving the sink - I guess you get used to things where they have always been! Just so I can understand and visual where you suggest moving things to, when you say move the fridge down to opposite the pennisula, do you mean near the entry to the kitchen (where the small three cupboards are shown on the drawing above) or where the cooktop is currently? I know one concern that my mum has is that the width of the fridge will jut out too far into the kitchen, taking up too much room. I've attached a picture with dimensions on it. Why don't you have an L shape and use the area under the window also for your sink and a couple of extra units? you could add shelves on either side of the window? Not sure why your fridge has to go at that end? might be best at the other end? As Sarah, suggests, get full height cupboards, and put the microwave in one of those, so that you're not losing so much space. Extra storage is probably more useful than having the microwave on display? It can easily be put on a shelf within a cupboard. (Our isn't even in our kitchen, but then we only use it once a week or so... so really depends) I'd also suggest drawers to the bottom of your units instead of cupboards.

I am interested in a new build and one thing we would like is a second area to watch TV preferably in the kitchen dining area. We would also love a office space for working from home. This plan has caught our attention however we are worried the kitchen / dining area isn't wide enough to accommodate our wishes. Ideally we would like an island , kitchen table and then couch with TV. From the drawings I make out the width to be 3450 in kitchen area and gets slightly bigger maybe to 3650 in dining part. Would it all be too cramped ? I find things hard to visualise based off plans

Hi, Just wondering if anyone would have any ideas for what to use the spaces off our kitchen for. These are very rough drawings to give an idea of the layout. The kitchen/diner were renovated a couple of years ago, but budget restrictions meant we didn't come up with plans for the area at the top right of the drawing. The small room on the extreme top right has a sink and some shelves. We have been using it to store our paint and accessories while DIYing the rest of the house. The space to the left of this, we built a partition wall to separate it from the kitchen and we have a freezer, some shelves, hoover, ironing board etc there. While it is very useful, we feel that the usage of the front utility room is not being maximised, and the partitioned area is a bit of a dumping ground. We have a utility room for washing machine/dryer out the back on this floor, so we don't need that. Any ideas/suggestions would be really gratefully received. Thanking you so much, Jen
