Cleaning acrylic bath

What the the best way to get an acrylic properly clean. I clean it every other week, but there are dark water type marks that I cant seem to shift.

Re: black granite------ I'm not a pro or anything, but we put a home depot grade black granite as our vanity top in a bathroom and the spots and finger prints do drive me crazy, and I'm the last person to call a neat freak. It never seems clean. I was recently at floor and decor looking at granite (dreaming of finishing a basement) and saw a honed black granite that looked really nice if your heart is set on black. I've seen that (honed black) in a kitchen in a luxury home and it looks extremely nice. It's a bit more expensive, but worth considering if choosing between black granites. Personally, I'm more of a marble fan and have marble in the kitchen. It's more high maintenance (meaning, you just have to use common sense and not treat it like you did in college). I've also owned a home with silestone and that is one durable and tough stone.

Mary, I am very glad to hear from you. I think of you often. It hurt me terribly when that unthoughtful person said what she said. I can only imagine how it must have hurt you. I would love to see how you have decorated for Christmas. I am almost certain there are differences between how our 2 countries do it. We have currently gutted the bathroom in our new house. Dimensions are 2700mm x 3900mm. The shower is in a fixed position but I would like advice on where to locate the bath. We would like a freestanding bath but I am concerned with having enough space to clean around and behind it. So attached are my 2 current ideas. 1. to have the bath parallel to the window but leave at least 450mm space between the bath and the wall, 2 to place the bath at an angle across the corner with storage shelves behind. Any suggestions or opinions?

I think it looks great so far. Many of the ads for claw foot tubs, and magazines, show them with encaustic/cement tile and plain white surround. Also, you did something creative and attractive with the tile layout. I love the nickel shine of your clawfoot legs too. If you can maybe get a corner shelf on one side of the wall, you'll have a place for soap, candle or bubble bath. And maybe hotel towel holder on another wall to get the height up. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
