I have had self levelling compound laid on top of an old concrete floor. It now has 2 cracks. One across the whole width (about 2.5 feet) and one along half the length (about 3 feet). The 2.5 ft crack is almost credit card width and about 2 cm deep. The other crack is not so wide but is uneven i.e. there is a ridge where the levelling hasn't settled evenly. Can I safely tile over this and/or paint the floor.
