Help with living room layout

Hi, I'm a bit stuck me need some help... please!
I can't quite figure out what way to lay out my living room. I was planning a left facing tan leather sofa maybe along the left hand long wall and a mid century armchair under the bay window. The sockets the internet, ethernet etc are to the right of the fireplace or I'd have considered a right facing sofa under the bay the reverse way around. I'm a bit concerned the left hand option might be a bit of a visual block as you enter the room.
Might it be worth changing the sockets to the left hand side to accommodate a bay window sofa? I plan to get a nice white fireplace surround and maybe a couple of matching cabinets but where to put them, it is a TV room too. Perhaps I need to keep the TV where it is or could it go to the right slightly on a bracket and pull it out when it being used? I'm getting more confused the more I look at it!

Hi, I'm trying to rearrange my living room but having a bit of difficulty. The room has 3 doors in it (1 hall door, 1 kitchen door & 1 door for under the stairs). There's also a fireplace and then one large window. I'm trying to create space for while already having the likes of our tv, 2 & 3 seater sofas so to have the room prepared for when Christmas rolls around! Hi there I’m building a new house and need to buy furniture as we are about 12-16 weeks out now. I have struggled with furniture layout as had originally been thinking of a corner couch in the middle or the roof so fire and tv would be visible when you sat down, but I drew it on floor in chalk and all it did was create a walkway around the couch with no real space for anything else - eg additional chair at the back end of the room etc. Felt to me like a waste of space and no function. I seem to have a lot of window and not so much wall to work with and as the ceiling is vaulted at the end where I have the fireplace seems to me would be odd not to orientate the furniture towards that view! I’ve drawn an alternative option in a programme I found online which I set out below with some pictures. The ceiling is vaulted to about 4.5 metres or so at the wall where the plant is in the picture below. Inset fire on that wall and tv on wall opposite over a sideboard. Any suggestions / improvements would be greatly appreciated- many thanks I’m advance!

Hi Rebecca, Congratulations on your new home. I have quickly sketched out the floor plan of your room in 2D and 3D. For the first option I placed the 2 seater in the window alcove, however I dont know the height of the window so this may not work if it is a large window as you dont want the furniture to obscure the window.
