help! design woes

hi everyone. long story short, we are getting our driveway done at the moment (resin bound finish) and we had dedicated an area for a new bin store to be installed by our wall on the left hand side. concrete base has been laid in anticipation of the resin going down the week after next. and the area for this bin store has been laid out. we have purchased said bin store, and have now been told that because of the gradient of our driveway, it apparently wont work? weve not been advised what 'would' make it work by the bin store company which is thoroughly unhelpful of them. is there any way round this? i am pretty gutted as was really excited to have one!!

you can see in the pic, that it will go against the wall on the left in that space on the right hand of the key kerbs.

Hmmm, not much you can do if you have already purchased the bin store- is there any way you could contact a carpenter to maybe either alter the store to make it fit, or devise a platform so the store could stand on a level base? Failing that, if you could return the bin store, have a bespoke one made locally? A lot of ‘if’s’ - sorry

Try he issue is that the slope will make the bin store loose it’s shape and likely the doors then won’t close properly. If you build a foundation to level out the slope then you will have to get the bins up a step to put them in the store.

I think you should return the bin store or consider if there is somewhere else it could go.

I really like the second one, but if you really like the wood panels then suit up for creativity - you can easily have the best of both worlds. Clear your wall at home and put the wooden panels there, you can then install the mantel on the panels just like in the second picture. Hope I helped :) Best wishes xoxo

Hi, can anyone recommend a designer for a bathroom. Any of the designers I've googled seem to have no pictures of bathrooms they've designed and I would like to see previous work as I don't want to end up with a study in sand and beige, which seems to be the fashion these days. We are lucky enough to have a pretty big bathroom so I want it to be bright and airy. Attached is a rough sketch of what I am thinking for the layout. It would be a wetroom, so a shower in the bottom left hand corner. It has to be here as the room is in a dormer and slopes downward towards the back wall where the toilet is. So there would be a screen between the shower and the free standing bath. Then the toilet and the sink. I like the style in the photos attached.

Hi all! I am a collector of dolls. Have approx 650 in total. Approx 250/300 are out of their boxes - majority are collector dolls but about 80 are played with dolls that I may use in diorama's. The loose dolls stand at about 13" including stands... The rest of the dolls are boxed and are varying heights, depths, colours, etc... Looking for advice on how to best show them in a room? I have some glass cabinets from Ikea which are ideal for the loose dolls but not for the boxes...and would work out too expensive...so was thinking of putting them in middle of room...? Windows are not ideal but can be changed at this stage. Window on back wall is a long narrow window high up in room (not a normal window). I didn't want windows but engineer insisted. Thanks in advance!
