Dear All,
I am going in for a full refurbishment, of a 3 bed house which was built in 1970
The YBS bank survey did mention that the house may contain asbestos and if needed, get a survey.
How do I identify if there's asbestos in the house and get rid of this, while I strip down the whole house and re-do it. Sort of kill two birds with one stone.
Jonathan did mention of artex in the ceiling. Will I be able to get rid of it automatically, when I take down all the plaster and ceiling?
Do I have to take any precautions? Inform any local authority?
Please do let me know
Kind regards
Mel
