We have wooden floorboards down in the front room. And there is a large stove on one side of the room.
Over the years there have been small gaps appearing between the floorboards close to the fire. It wasn't really a big problem except there is a really big gap appearing between two of the boards in particular.
They are two boards just to one sode of the stove. The stove is sitting on a large stone/concrete fire place and is raised about 10 inches off the wooden boards.
Any ideas on how I can stop it getting bigger, or even repair it?
