How do I co-ordinate my living room with this wallpaper seem to have a lot of the same colour
Comments (20)HI -- Well the wallpaper was just done so there is no changing that , soooo I think you should paint the rest of that wall the same white as the white background of the wallpaper and paint fireplace mantel too. Then have two small matching cabinets painted the blue from the paper or the leaf color placed on each side of the fireplace. . Then have white or glass shelves above , maybe three is best . Now the rest of the room painted the exact color of your sofa . Because the room looks small I think it would look best to have the sofa blend into the walls color wise. Now just keep some of your room accents in the blue color but not too much. Remember not to clutter the shelves and if you don't want the shelves then have a large painting on each side and have a big round mirror over the mantel and keep the small items off the mantel and onto the side cabinets ....See MoreWhat colour would I put with this wallpaper
Comments (5)I don't understand, if you have wallpaper up, what are you painting? Is this a focal wall and you need paint for the other walls? How much natural light does the room get, because my first thought would be charcoal gray paint. You could also go with white, light gray or it looks like there's a bit of gold in the paper?...See MoreI want to do a floor to ceiling photo wall and need some advice
Comments (3)Hello Debbie, Why not give a company like Opopsi a call.. They may be able to print something bespoke for you.. They also do canvases or Mural type.. I have not used them as yet but I think they could help.. I would say no to borders and maybe consider a wallpaper idea.. I think they do that too! Maybe you could even consider a more bespoke arrangement rather than lots and lots of photo's some could be overlapped or semi transparent so you get the effect of double exposures but with different images.. So it's more creative than a tile effect.. .. : ))...See MoreDressing Room wallpaper ideas
Comments (20)Sorry, yes, I didn't explain very well, did I... I meant that as your room seems to be quite light, floor included, a dark grey that matches the bird on your wallpaper would give you that wow factor (pic1 below). You could then work on the layering textures within the same colour palette too with the rest of your accessories (rugs, mirrors etc). Or if you're not too keen on greys, pick out one of the other colours if you prefer- you have a good selection of pink, blue, green or yellow. As long as you match the exact shade you can't go wrong, in my humble opinion. I've attached a few pics below to show you what I mean xx...See Morekazzh
