How to layout new kitchen/lounge/diner, help!!

We’re planning a 2 metre extension to our current kitchen. Our garden isn’t big but it’s L shaped, so we want to arrange seating so that you have views of both bits. It will be a 5.7 by 6metre space, and we’re really struggling to decide how to lay it out. I’ve attached two photos, one with an island and one with a peninsula. We’ve been advised an island would add a lot more value to the house, but we like that the peninsula defines the living area more. If anyone can let me know if they think island or peninsula is better, or even if you think an entirely different layout would be better, I’d be so grateful for any advice! Thank you
