choosing window colour
Comments (2)I think maybe a mid grey would look good...especially if you chose one with green undertones to tie into the kitchen etc. It's also more maintenance friendly than white or cream...which get dirty very fast. You can see the kind of colour I mean in this picture...but if you feel the colour doesn't work on the inside you can always have a different one to the exterior!!...See MoreWall & window covering colours
Comments (10)Hello niamh6426, A nicely proportioned set of rooms.. Lovely features, nicely done! Bring the sofa in the opening further into the room so it doesn't block the flow... Ideally move it away from the french doors? So a few things to suggest here.. Why not paint above the picture rail the white to tie in with the ceiling.. the lavender and sage work nicely and so it really is which you might want to pick out.. I'm thinking of the chimney breast to bring it out into the room with even more focus..... A deeper purple/grey, charcoal or deeper olive green ... With any of these colours you could have some light charcoal accessories... Silk cushions etc.. The colours would also work with the existing wall paint. Rather like the charcoal colour and it would work with a slightly darker greyish purple too, so throws and other cushions could be also very complimentary.. :))...See MoreRender and Window Colour Combination
Comments (0)Hi, Moving into a new house which is currently painted white with white PVC windows. We're planning on replacing the windows with Aluclad windows and I was looking for suggestions on colour combinations. Initially, I was thinking that I'd repaint the house white and go with Anthracite Grey frames. However I'm a little worried that it's very fashionable at the minute and might date in the next couple of years. I've also seen a few houses lately with lighter coloured windows which looked good. One had a grey with what looks to be almost an olive undertone with the walls painted a deep creamy shade. I'd be really interested to hear what colour combinations other people have gone for and whether I risk dating the house as '2016' with a white/dark grey/anthracite combination. I'll post photos later of the house as it is currently and a mock up of the house with dark grey windows. Thanks a million!!...See MoreNeed help choosing the colour for the exterior of our alu-clad windows
Comments (0)As we are restricted to RAL colours and looking for pale blue with hint of grey can anyone suggest which shade to use? And what contrasting colour should we use for the front door?...See MoreLawrence Meakins
