Hi all, I need an extra toilet, and seems that the best option would be in one corner of the kitchen, under the bathroom from the 1st floor. I have a small vent window too. But I'm not sure how to make the best use of the current space. I hope you can help me with some ideas, Thank you
Could you rotate the cupboards/washing machine 90 degrees to face into the kitchen and erect a partition wall with door behind, a basin could go against this wall to allow access to the under stairs cupboard. Ideally the fridge/freezer would rotate also, instead of the door to the new WC, but that would mean accessing from the new room from the reception room…..
Yes, I agree, i think you would miss the cupboards and extra worktop. would the fridge/freezer fit in the space near the bay window shown on your plan?
