Small bath for a small bathroom - is 1400cm long comfortable enough?

Hi, were renovating our bathroom which currently has a shower over a bath. We want to have a separate shower and bath, but to do this we will have a max 1450cm bath space. Lusso Stone has the PICASSO BATH 1400 which looks great, but there's no showroom I can find to sit in and try it out! Is it big/comfortable enough? Any reviews from anyone who already has this bath would be great to have - thanks!

It will be a little smaller than usual but on the other hand I'm not tall and I still find most baths to small to do anything but sit in comfortably, lying down is just not possible in them.

Depends on style/functionality you’re after - we are having a Japanese inspired bathroom (shower first, then soak in a tub) and will be buying an Omnitub - they are very deep. They have a showroom, we visited when we holidayed in Bath and Bristol last year. I’ll check out Lusso tub myself, have their vanity unit in the garage, waiting for us to begin the refurb.

Hi, you have a lovely home! I read through your thread, and I like Dar Eckarts suggestion above the best. I think because of the symmetry of it as an H shaped house is symmetrical, and it would also keep the space looking decorated but still open and uncluttered which is what an entrance should be. Sorry, but I don't care for the bookcase idea in an entrance. I also noticed the masks you have, and think it would be great to decorate the space using them as inspiration. Here is a photo to show you the kind of rug I think would work here.

I think it looks great so far. Many of the ads for claw foot tubs, and magazines, show them with encaustic/cement tile and plain white surround. Also, you did something creative and attractive with the tile layout. I love the nickel shine of your clawfoot legs too. If you can maybe get a corner shelf on one side of the wall, you'll have a place for soap, candle or bubble bath. And maybe hotel towel holder on another wall to get the height up. If you want to get an approximate feel, either sit in a 1400mm shower or sit in a bath with something (cardboard?) at 1400mm.
