We are planning on having an Elica Switch Duct Out version in our new kitchen running from an island hob to outside. The ducting will be install under the screed and concrete so will never be able to be fixed or cleaned without taking entire floor up... this makes me soooo nervous!!! Has anyone got this set up and can tell me that it's a fair standard way of ducting an extractor?!?!
Well we went for it and ducted it out under the floor. We've only been back in our house a few weeks but so far so good. It had really good suction and isn't too noisy! I'm glad we took the plunge. I'd far rather the smells go outside than recirculating.
