sliding/bifold or french doors
Hi guys, we were going to replace these bifold doors when we replace the windows with sliding doors, incorporating the window to the left of the bifolds.
I’m now wondering if we should keep it more traditional?
Ideas please. We’re removing the awning 🤪

Comments (42)Hi Janis Unfortunately I am not in the Boston area - I live in Ireland! Yes there are red items in 3 of the main rooms, the kitchen, sitting room and tv room (library) - although we have pared those back now and it's not as overwhelming. thanks for all your help everyone, i really feel like it's made a big difference and am excited to finish the tv room and then refresh the play room. do you think I should move the piano to the sitting room? and would the jazz painting work in the tv room? speak later, thanks!...See MorePatio doors

Comments (4)no idea on utility. but what about twisting the kitchen 90degrees. have it all longways so when washing am looking out the big windows not out the smaller one. you still have the island just twist it too and move the cooker to sink area by the wall. island can be for rolling dough when baking bread. that frees up space along the upper wall for built in washing machine dont see how to build a utitly room tho :( put in some in-wall sliding doors so you dont need the big space for living room door opening. use a two piece corner door for the toilet as that surely will be hard having the door and front door open at same time....See More

You could then choose how many doors you want.

2 years agoI can add no more, but stick to traditional as your house looks like a beautiful period property. Step away from the grey as it really doesn’t suit the style of your house. Simple white or cream or taupe would be much more in keeping.
