White Sockets/Switches or Brushed Chrome?

Hi all. I am completing on my house on 10th May which needs a whole rewire. Luckily my partners boyfriend is an electrician!
I am struggling to decide on the finish for the sockets and switches.
Electrician said high quality white sockets are coming back in. What do people think?? I want it to be timeless and nothing too bold like black or anything! Any advice would be helpful!!

    It’s personal taste. I have white ones (cheapies) and they do the job and sit well in a pale room.

    I'd agree with white, good quality white.
    Goes with anything, doesn't look outdated, easy clean. Good luck

    White unless you want to make a feature of them.

    I was worried that black would be too bold but we went for them and love them. Corston bronze.
