Macerator sound reduction / proofing

Hi all


Am just at the end of a loft renovation and the Macerator they used for the ensuite is ridiculously loud... has anyone had a similar problem and got any advice for reducing the noise?

    Put it on a sound proof mat.... the kind of thing you put under washing machines and shower pumps to stop vibrations. Search online for anti vibration mat.
    Personally I think that because they work in bursts and only when you flush its not too intrusive and you get used to it
