Indoor Houseplant Expert Help

Hey guys,

I live in London and have around 15–20 houseplants. In the past few months, they've all started dying and I'm struggling to identify what the problems are with each of them.

Ideally, I'm looking for somebody who could come round to my flat for a few hours to help me understand what is wrong with each of them and what I can do moving forward to make sure they thrive.

I tried searching online for somebody that offers this service, but had no luck.

Any suggestions welcome!

Hmmm I’m not sure if a houseplant whisperer exists to be honest. Why don’t you share some pictures of the plants and we’ll have a stab at what could be wrong? In my humble opinion most houseplants die from over watering.

To add to Sonia’s comment, this can happen over winter especially as most plants are much more dormant in winter they need less water. Now’s the time things should start springing back to life with the increasing length of daylight hours though so maybe you’ll see signs of improvement. Lol, yes, sorry... Need photos and even then I'm not sure I could help. I'm definitely not an expert. Could be anything from over watering to having the heating on too high // low, would just be a guess without pictures and details around the plants you actually keep.

You might be able to get face-to-face advice at a local nursery or garden centre.
