I’ve used Oil based gloss paint in my kids bedroom on skirting and windoW sills it smells bad and worried About harmful VOCs it releases anyway I can fix?

Just leave a window open is all I can suggest.

Horrid stuff isn’t? Gives me a terrible headache. Opening all the windows in the day will help a lot, and then leave one open a little bit at night and it will soon go.

I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

Lovely, much better than the 3D plan. V glad you kept your patterned floor tiles, I really like them. It's all come together very attractively. The only thing I'd change and this is just because I'm a colour freak is the pendants - I'd probably have made those red and orange or something. But congrats really, it looks great.

It looks very pretty. I would look at pics of painted floors versus whitewashed and see which you prefer then people can hopefully help with methods. I've used chalk paint but not on a floor. Annie Sloan sell floor lacquer so you don't need to use the wax which is very time consuming to apply, the lacquer can be rollered on. The only thing I would say is that it does not adhere to I think varnish made in the 80's and I find the White paint coverage is poor although not an issue if white washing. May be just just a thing believed to work but worth trying. My mom used to leave a large bowl filled with water in the room she painted using gloss. She claimed it absorbed the smell but who knows? won't hurt to try though.

Just needs ventilation. Most people choose to use water based paint inside but oil based outside as it offers more protection.

You will find it is fine after about 7 days.... but until then lots of ventilation
