Utility closet considerations

Due to budgets, we’re going to have to scale back our extension plan and lose the utility room. But we can still fit in something more like the utility closet pictured.
Does anyone have one of these? Any pics or recommendations as to what should be included? I’m wondering about ventilation if we’re drying clothes in there, how best to minimise the washer and dryer noise, and generally maximising storage.
