Comments (2)Yellows/creams/ whites/ and grays are very fresh right now. The gray can range from light silver to charcoal, but it won't take away from bright and airy feel, because it really makes the yellows and creams stand out....See Moreneed help with colours for the living room

Comments (9)Is the chandelier thing seeming a bit small for the room or is it just me? Given that your walls are plain, the sofa is plain how about a patterned rug? Do you like Persian rugs? I find that dark green wainscotting too heavy and would paint it a lighter color. Given you have just moved in I assume you are planning to be there a while. If you like traditional style do you want a fairly safe color scheme re walls and curtains, keeping future resale in mind. Or are u happy to decorate according to your tastes? The mirror seems a bit small to me....See MoreI need help with paint colour for my living room and kitchen walls
Comments (15)We just painted a color called "Latte" over the dark red walls in our place and we keep thinking that someone left the light on! It adds that much light to the place as the red was just sucking out any light in the place. Find a color you like more for that wall and repaint...and/or maybe add a ceramic tile backsplash? It will make it feel brighter in there immediately as you will get a lot of light reflection. I love the idea of sage green with your cabinets....See MoreAlison Wilkinson
